looking for an outdoor adventure trip within the tristate area?

I want to do something adventurous with a bunch of friends next weekend. I live in new jersey. Any suggestions on an adventure trip that we can do in one day?? We already went skydiving and water rafting.

i want to go on a tornado chasing tour, whats the best chance of seeing a twister?

I’ve had a look at ’storm chasing adventure tours’ and they claim to be the best company with the best know how. However they say that only 25% of tours actually see a tornado, is there a particular time thats better to see a tornado eg is the beginning of the season more tornadic than the end of the season?

Try late April to early May in western Oklahoma. If you can find high temps like high 70’s to low 90’s and track the jet stream about 5:30 in the evening, you could get blown away!

The storms generally blow to the Northeast from the southwest.

Do i need any Qualifications to teach children sports abroad?

im choosing to do a degree in Adventure Tourism Management at Uni, but after that i want to work abroad and I’d like to teach children.
for example, working in a ski resort teaching them how to ski,etc
i wanted to know if i need a qualification for this? teaching or any other qualification?

nope – just skiing ability and the ability to find a position.

I’ve not heard about them before, and would be a tiny bit dubious of any travel company that doesn’t appear to be registered to any travel organisation. They maybe cheaper than other group travel companies, but I personally like assurances! travelbag is a long establish company and they are ABTA affiliated

For example: Geotourism where you see geological wonders around the world or adventure tourism where you mountain climb in tibet.

Between the two you picked, geotourism. I most like to see how other people and animals and cultures live. (I can’t climb, or I might have picked Tibet.)

How much would you pay for a used travel system?

I’m selling a travel system that is still in great shape and some extras- 3 car seat bases, an extra car seat cover, and a Bundle Me in addition to the standard stroller and car seat. The system retails for about $200 new (without the extras). What do you think is a fair price or what would you be willing to pay for this? I’m putting it on Craigslist if that makes a difference. It’s an Eddie Bauer Adventure Travel System.

I would start out for half the price and then be willing to go down. When buying used I usually want 1/2 off.

I know others have said they wouldnt buy a used carseat, but not everyone can afford to purchase a new one. I’d go half.

Buying an additional Car Seat Base for Eddie Bauer Ashland Adventure Travel System?

I am looking for an extra base for the Eddie Bauer Travel System. We have one in our pickup but I would also like one in my car. Does anyone know where to find one online? I have found them for the other travel system that Eddie Bauer (Endeavor) offers but not the Adventure system. The product number is 01603AAI. Please help as our baby is due in less than two weeks!! It might be best to contact the manufacturer. I found this on the web site. They show one base, but I could find no info on if it would work for your seat or not. You could contact them and ask.
