  • What would be a good backpacking trail for my BoyScout Troop?

Posted by admin on November 15th, 2009 and filed under adventure trips | 4 Comments »

It is for our High Adventure trip. It will be for about 20 people and it is going to be around the 4th of July to the 13th of July. Please, I need some ideas for our meeting next monday.

    Thanks

I don’t know where you are willing to go but, go up into Cement Creek area between Gunnison and Crested Butte Colorado.

Isle Royale, national park in Michigan. It is a rustic island inbetween the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Minnesota. It is large Island that is hike able in 3 to 5 days. What you carry in is what you carry out. There are no roads there you can only get there by ferry, boat and snowmobile.

I can’t participate in Boy Scout activities because I’m an atheist, otherwise I would be a Scoutmaster instead of top contributor to Yahoo Answers Camping and Outdoor Recreation categories.
