  • Is there any safe hiking and adventure tours close to Manila that you can do in a day?

Posted by admin on August 5th, 2009 and filed under adventure tours | 8 Comments »

I love taking hikes to places with beautiful sceneries and gorgeous picturesque places. I would love to see nature’s beauty in the Philippines but don’t want to travel far from Manila. Are there any tours or places that I can go that is driving distance from Manila?

Thank you very much for your help!

Mt. Makiling in Los Banos, Laguna.

Be careful, it is dangerous in the Phillipines right now–especially for Westerners.

If you love a jungle trek and a mountain hike straight to a scenic cove and a beach all for yourself then try hiking in the Ternate/Maragondon area.Drive past Puerto Azul towards Caylabne Bay.From there your on your way up the jungles where you can still spot monkeys, wild pigs and deers.Upon going down you may reach an isolated beach or the beaches of Caylabne Resort or Puerto Azul or the Marine training base and have a few rounds with the Marines. Its safe there.
