We like adventure but we dont want to do anything that is going to hurt the baby. Is there anything that is fun and safe?

"Adventures" are tough when you are pregnant. You can do normal exercise, the general rule is that you don’t want to raise your heart rate or your body temp when exercising. You can go on a hike as long as it’s not really extreme weather, or go swimming in a river or somewhere else interesting. Travel is safe (if you can afford it) up until the last couple of months of your pregnancy, maybe take the opportunity to go on a little getaway together to an exotic place, you may not get another chance for a while once the little one arrives. Hope that helps!

You have to avoid so many things…. Last weekend I really wanted to go roller skating even though I haven’t gone in 4+ years, but I couldn’t. You could always go for walks- do you have any hiking trails close to you or an hour or so away? I’m really looking forward to going swimming this summer. I’ll swim no matter how big my belly is. Maybe you guys could find an indoor swimming pool- that would be fun and get you some exercise too. Of course, the easiest thing and probably most fun is to go out to eat!

You aren’t sick, just pregnant. Carry on as normal, if it feels wrong don’t do it. You aren’t supposed to lift heavy objects, and keep the exercise moderate (or at least don’t go until you feel faint or sick). But you don’t have to be bedridden or anything..carry on as normal.
